YouTube already labels AI videos. This makes sure you notice.

AI SLOP Detector pauses the video and asks, the moment YouTube's own disclosure shows up. No account, no tracking, and it requests no browser permissions at all.

the label

The label nobody sees

YouTube already discloses when a video's sounds or visuals were altered or fully generated by AI. It sits in a 20px pill beneath a 24px title.

A label you notice after you've started watching has already failed at its job.

How it works

1

It watches for YouTube's label

The extension reads the disclosure YouTube renders on the watch page. Nothing is guessed and nothing is sent anywhere.

2

It pauses and asks

Playback stops and one panel appears with one question. It cannot be missed the way a small grey pill can.

3

You decide

Skip returns you to where you came from. Watch dismisses the panel and won't ask about that video again.

What it doesn't do

It does not detect AI on its own, and it does not judge videos. It reads the disclosure YouTube already displays, which means a video whose uploader never disclosed will pass straight through. This is a warning layer on an existing label, not a detector, and pretending otherwise would waste your time.
